As someone who studies Astronomy, this is one of my absolute pet hates. Especially when Im asked about star signs, cause I do that astro thing with the stars, yeah? Yeah?! No. Allow me to make this a little less opaque for you. Astrology, and its followers, are the laughing stock of the educated and informed world. They are right up there with homeopaths, tarot readers, crystal healers and people that still think Elvis is alive. There is absolutely no evidence FOR any of the above and there is plenty of evidence AGAINST all of the above. If you have any proof for these things, please go and pick up your Nobel Prize :) If you choose to still believe in refuted bullshit, expect ridicule from the world. Expect ridicule like a 30 year old that still believes in the Tooth Fairy. I highly doubt people could still harbour these primitive beliefs if they couldnt isolate themselves from the rational world, only surrounding themselves with people that affirm their own beliefs.
