As someone who works to produce textbooks every day, for decades, here are some of the greatest fears of joke comments or unfortunate typos, or improperly created files, going to press, and getting printed, bound and distributed. I am reminded of the horrible last minute chapter 1 page heading correction, repeated at the top of every page of chapter 1, next to the page number, in a very expensive, 1000-page, 4-color college-level communications textbook. We were so excited to see it delivered, but at the top of every chapter 1 page it said Anal Communications (not Oral Communications ...uh oh, thousands of dollars of manufacturing work trashed--and horrified some were already delivered to (horrified) buyers. (Luckily, not MY project...!).
