As soon as my cupboards are cleared out of temptation (Im guessing a couple days, week max), Im going exclusively whole food, semi low-glycemic, until I kick these last 10 lbs off. I feel like Ive been very patient with waiting for my body to return to its pre-pregnancy state. And, Im being very realistic that it is very unlikely that it will ever be like that again. Right now, Im at a perfectly healthy BMI. But Im ready to look and act the like fit person Im used to being, whatever shape that will be post-partum. And I want to be fully healthy to enjoy as many years possible with my son. Im not sure how this is going to go. Breastfeeding makes me a crazy hungry beast. And I dont want to do anything so drastic that it messes with my milk supply. So, well just take it as it goes and adjust where needed. My plan is to simply not eat anything that I wouldnt give to Elliot. I already walk and dance, but I might have to add something extra if I dont see any changes after 2 weeks. I really feel like these last 10 lbs are entirely carb related- so it is time to clean it up. No calorie restriction. Just clean eating. Typing this out makes me accountable. It is time!
