As the 2013 federal election draws to a close, I would like to thank each and every PUP supporter, for being brave and voting for us in the election. It is always daunting to break away from the mainstream and follow a new initiative, but we all have come out on the other side as leaders in this country by achieving the best results a new party has ever done in the history of Australia! Did you know that: --> PUP received a higher vote nationally than the National Party which has been around for one hundred years? --> In Qld, PUP achieved 11% and 6% votes across Australia? --> Clive Palmer, our federal leader, is most probably going to win his seat of Fairfax, and Glen Lazarus, the QLD Lead Senate candidate, will most likely get into the QLD senate? --> PUP still has a good chance of winning senate seats in Tasmania and Western Australia? What a marvelous effort based on PUP only having been registered for eight weeks!
