As the 2015 General Election is drawing nearer and the political - TopicsExpress

As the 2015 General Election is drawing nearer and the political atmosphere is becoming steaming by the day, I realised that I can’t remain on the fence for a long time therefore I just have to align with a political ideology and make this known to the public. I undertook a study of the two major political parties in the country and the main characters that makes up each of them, then I concluded as a Nigerian who always yearn for the progress of the country to support the aspiration of the retired General Muhammadu Buhari if giving the mandate of his party. For me, PDP has failed this country in all ramifications and Jonathan government hasn’t lived up to the expectation by any standard. The ruling party has been in power for about 15 years with an average annual budget of N5trillion yet there’s nothing to show for it. Moreover the party cannot provide un-interrupted power supply within the same period even after spending billions of dollars on the project. Finally, I have two major issues with President Goodluck Jonathan; he was expected to confront the dragon of corruption in our system head on, today the fight against the evil is practically dead and his administration will emerge as the most corrupt in the history of this country. Secondly, terrorism gained momentum when he took over the rein of office, however if he had dealt with it decisively early it could have become things of the past by now. This is not a declaration of war on anyone, my friends who are sympathetic to the ruling party and the aspiration of the incumbent still remain my friends.
