As the Chairman for the Physics department staff-student committee I myself and other committee members, including departmental staff, discussed this issue in detail at our previous meeting. However it arose that in fact the Students Union was initially consulted on this matter and in fact agreed to it without mass consultation of the student body. Whilst I hope that this is not the case, the staff within my department have no reason to lie as they all thought the idea of a feedback week was ridiculous.
