As the EP Kings Army, we also act as advocates for what deem as unfair against our player. One has to understand that we are not only here as a medium from which we only pass on news about the union/franchise. The last time we had a video of this nature, some criticized it. This clip is of one of our u19 players on the receiving end of a very bad high tackle, Malcolm Jaer, our u19 fullback was tackled by Sharks u19 no.4 Johan du Toit. The tackle is both reckless and dangerous. The nature in which he pulled Jaer down is similar to that of JD Schickerling, the WP u21 lock who broke his neck 2 weeks ago. The most concerning thing is how the referee did not pull out a card for this incident considering the nature of the incident. Johan du Toit has subsequently been cited for the incident, at least sanity prevailed in the upper echelons of our officials, it is still however that a ref didnt deem that incident at the very least yellow card worthy.
