As the Ryder Cup swung into action yesterday, there was a very special tee off taking place at St Margaret’s church in Lowestoft as Lindsay and Tom became husband and wife. Arriving at Southwood Hall in the sunshine, guests congregated on the lawns sipping Prosecco eagerly anticipating the happy couple’s arrival. A gleaming white Rolls Royce appeared and was every inch what we had expected from our glamourous love birds. As Lindsay stepped onto the lawn, the sunlight caught in her sparkly princess dress whilst an extremely dapper Tom looked the proudest man in the world to have such a beautiful wife on his arm, a shot we are sure would have been captured perfectly by Videoteers. Following a delicious selection of canapés and a whirlwind of photographs, Lindsay, Tom and their parents formally received each and every guest into Coronation Barn ahead of the speeches. The barn looked effortlessly stunning in traditional wedding finery with a modern twist. Irene’s House of Flowers provided the most luscious centre pieces of creams and pastel peaches whilst KWF tied elegant ivory sashes around each chair to compliment the cute little pearl heart confetti that were scattered across each table. When Lindsay described her ‘colour scheme’ in our planning meetings, I had no idea which way it would be interpreted but can definitely say that every little detail she had organised fitted together perfectly. Each lady had a bride shaped cookie favour and each man had a groom shaped cookie whilst the flower girls were spoilt with goodie bags full to the brim! Tom even had a little contribution to the décor by basing the table names on pro-golfers due to take part in the 2014 Ryder Cup following their trip to the competition four years ago with friends, he did say that the names were chosen before the final team were selected so don’t judge him boys! A lavish three course meal was concluded by our favourite trio of desserts and with the wine flowing, the evening was fast upon us with more guests arriving to celebrate Tom and Lindsays special day. Our bride even found the time to take to the dance floor with her flower girls to sing along to every little girl’s favourite tune from Frozen before the party really started. Juicy burgers topped with melting cheese, fresh lettuce and ripe tomatoes were laid out for guests to tuck into before heading to the dance floor to party with the Joe Ringer band until the early hours. Mr and Mrs Beales, it has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of your special day. Have a truly wonderful honeymoon together in the Maldives x
