As the Ventura Chamber of Commerce prepares to enter a new year, several changes are in store for the Board of Directors. Saurabh Bajaj (Owner, FASTSIGNS Ventura) will succeed current Chair, Mary Jarvis (Marketing Director, Kaiser Permanente), as the new Chair of the Board and will be formally installed in his new role at the Annual Meeting & Board Installation. During the evening, the Chamber will also welcome four new members to the Board - Pattie Braga (Ventura County Credit Union), Greg Van Ness (Tolman & Wiker Insurance Services), Charnell Smith (Aloha Steakhouse), and Alice Love (Pacific View). Long-time businesses who have been members of the Chamber for 25 and 50 years will also be recognized, including: Robert L. Pazen, O.D.; Ventura County Credit Union; Wolfe, Emch, Crowley, Accountancy; Ivy Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home; Marina Village Shopping Center; Ventura Family YMCA; West Coast Sash and Door; and Tri County GLAD. The Ventura Chambers Annual Installation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Wedgewood Banquet Center located at 5880 Olivas Park Drive, Ventura from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Light appetizers will be served. Admission to this event is $25 for Chamber Members, $40 for General Admission, and $5 more at the door.
