As the city girl I discovered I am after living at Bugle ranges on the 50 acre farm I am loving Rio. The cost and time to Go to Iguassu and macho Picchu at present is unwarranted. So I looked to my bucket list and a cruise was on it. Unbelievably I am cruising out of New York on the 16 Oct at 4pm and returning after 8 nights in the Caribbean on the morning of 24 Oct. At a cost of A$130 per night for a cabin on my own in a 5 star cruise ship I thought it was a good way to relax in the middle of 4 weeks in New York -- and my goodness to see the Statue of Liberty and skyline of New York from the water as we sail out on the 16th pm and sail back in on the 24th am will be nothing but awesome. I will definitely come back to Rio/Brazil in 2017 when internal airline prices come back to earth. Hugs and kisses from Rio
