As the cold front moves through the region (tracked via the wind gusts and the dewpoint, which by the way are going to drop like a rock through the day), we are getting reporting of reduced visibilities due to blowing dust/sand along and west of the Colorado River Valley. Check out this report/pic via ADOTs Twitter feed of some dust getting kicked up around Parker. Blythe, CA has already been reporting visibilties as low as 1/2 mile earlier this AM. If youre heading west from Phoenix on either I-10 or I-8 might trying to bring some extra time with you and be an attentive traveler today.
