As the crews of Operation Icefish prepare to welcome in the New Year, our thoughts are with our loved ones back in the 21 nations that each of us calls home, and all the creature comforts we’ve left so very far behind. But when we look around and the Crystal Desert that lay before us, we find abundant reward for our sacrifices. The fruits of our labour are reflected in vast ocean of electric-blue and all the life that beams from it.
