As the daughter of a Marine (23 years of military service), the sister of a Naval Enlisted man (20+ years of military service), Wife to a Marine, Aunt to soldiers, cousin to many military personnel, this short video really spoke to my heart. Most people have no real idea of the sacrifices made by those who serve in the military and also by the family members of those who serve. Especially in the days before internet, when communication between the troops and the family could take 4 to 6 WEEKS!! I am proud of being a member of a military family, and am thankful to each one who has served in the military.
