As the day ends, I am reminded of how blessed I am to have so many friends and family who genuinely care about me and have gone out of their way to greet me today. Thank you for your well wishes. Thank you to my husband who never fails to tell me how much he loves me. And although the rains came, the priceless part of it was having spent quality time with Bobby and Rory... Finger painting, putting puzzles together and simply snuggling in bed, having great and funny conversations. This is the year I celebrate my velada with my Assumption sisters and the journey of reconnecting with them in the last couple of months has been nothing short of amazing. Today as well has been a time for great miracles for a friend who had to go into surgery a couple of hours back. I am filled with peace knowing she has started her recovery process. And so I can only say Thank you, Lord. Thank you for 43 beautiful years. Thank you for the lessons I learn everyday and thank you for constantly reminding me that you will continue to take care of me and my family. To You be the glory!
