As the days approach of the ending of CM Punks contract with WWE, - TopicsExpress

As the days approach of the ending of CM Punks contract with WWE, I thought it may be appropriate to look at the situation. We have had months since the situation started and we have obtained insight into the mindset of Phil Brooks(aka CM Punk). Its important for me to stress to the readers that I was and still am a CM Punk fan. It is in my opinion that to be a fan you must be objective as possible. When one of your favorites does something good you can toot his or her horn, and when they do something wrong you can take them to task objectively. Upon hearing that CM Punk leaving WWE I was firmly in his corner. As the self professed Voice of the Voiceless, he comes across as the every man type wrestler. He didnt like the direction of his character, so he decided to take himself out of the equation and sit mat home in Chicago and watch Blackhawk games. As the frustrated Punk attempted to keep his reasons for leaving to himself , two major reasons were revealed. It become known that he has been frustrated with how he was booked. Correctly if I am wrong but over the past three years, since Punk cut the infamous Pipebomb Promo, where he vented his frustrations, who was he booked with?? Well from my memory and not using the internet I recall The Rock, Chris Jericho, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Triple H, and The Undertaker. All of those names would put Punk in the money and in big spots on any PPV card. So where he is upset with how he was booked is beyond my realm of comprehension. Punk wasnt thrilled with overall direction of his character. Well Punk you held the title the longest in 25 years, so somebody in creative thought highly of your work. On WWE Shop there were 88 items for sale with CM Punks name or likeness on whatever item. If creative had zero vision for Punk, the company would sell 88 items. As Payback was in Chicago, all the Punk chants rang through the All-State Arena, with Punk across town watching the Blackhawks and Kings in Game 7, ending in no Punk return. It is important for fans to stop chanting his name. Chanting his name has no affect on WWE, as they didnt fire him, he walked out. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon need to stop taking cheap shots at Punk, makes them look childish. If Punk returns, if he really needs time to recharge, he will get the biggest pop, I have no doubt about that response. However I believe the chanting CM PUNK!! CM PUNK!!! Is a complete waste if time, especially knowing some of the reasons why. I would love to hear opinions on the Punk situation.--Kevin
