As the description says, this may be distressing viewing for some. I was curious as to how the crash played out exactly - theres been no official media reports on his condition today and, well, I want to know as much as possible to deduce what I can. Needless to say I wish I hadnt seen this. This is the worst thing Ive seen in my 20 years of watching F1. Sennas crash was an ordinary one that played out with a horrible twist of fate - this is just sickening. Thank all those who pushed safety in racing to the standards theyre at today - its unbelievable that the crash helmet has protected his life and given him a fighting chance, but its clear from the circumstances that led to this crash that more must be done. When a recovery vehicle or marshals are on the circuit there simply should not be any racing - there is a frightening amount of energy in these cars with a lot of potential for failure and error, if you push your luck enough regarding the placement of marshals and lifting gear, eventually something freak like this will occur. Sadly it has and this young mans life, amazingly, hangs in the balance. #ForzaJules
