As the disarmament continues, the government, civil society, NGOs, churches and human rights bodies must be ready to take their resources in terns if human capital, finances, food, education et al to the northern communities. These are people whove been living by the gun and bullet since 19th century. They know no education, hospitals, and civilization to be brief. The government must be ready to seal the porous borders of eastern, northern and western regions where theyve been sourcing them. These communities must be taught of alternative ways of living. They must be provided with the modern ways of earning living which includes agriculture, horticulture.. Of course through irrigation. They must be made to benefit from the exploration of their rich minerals land. They should be assured of security against their far neibours including the alshabab of Somalia and hostile communities from the peace less nations across the borders. The exercise should not be limited to one constituency but many others who have been involved in rustling. The government is doing a commendable job and its better they gonna bring the long lasting peace and coexistence between the Nilotic communities.
