As the first day of Autumn falls upon are region and the leaves on the trees begin to change colors and gracefully fall to earth. For some a small measure of sadness will crawl into the mind and we will long to miss those hot summer days that never seem to end. We may recall the warm summer nights spent with a lover we never wanted to end. When this occurs and it inevitably will, be cognizant and enjoy what this season brings. Autumn will deliver gentle breezes that seem to remove the scents of civilization from the air. Fall festivals will seemingly grace every small town, everything will be pumpkin and straw . Bakeries, filled with the flavors of fall, Apple pies will fill there store fronts. You can hear the sound of children in costumes running from house to house on the only day they can take sweet treats from strangers. There will be trips taken into the foothills as the brown covered hills begin to turn green again. Brisk evenings in layers of your favorite fall fashions, walking hand and hand with a loved one. Then before you know it Autumn will pass and be a distant memory like a poem forgotten a dream mis-rememberd. All are thoughts will turn to winter holidays and not a tear will be shed for Autumn.
