As the great Sir Alex Ferguson once rightly pointed out attacks wins matches but the defence wins you titles. The match tonight bitterly exposed our defensive frailties. The ref did get a few calls wrong but thats besides the point, we were still poor defensively. Im still wondering why we didnt get a proper centre half during the transfer window but I reckon its a lil too late to cry over spilled beans now. The defeat tonight is surely disappointing but I take heart in the fact that we havent found our proper back four/three yet with Shaw still on the sidelines. Five games into a 38 game season is too early to panic so chin up guys and keep cheering for the team.
