As the honey bird hovers over the flower looking for the nectar that will satisfy its hunger, so you flit about seeking satisfaction to the cravings of your heart. But there is only One that can satisfy your needs. And though you try to find satisfaction in many things that seem to be good, my child it is only in me that you can truly find the peace and joy that you so urgently seek. For I alone know that deep hunger in your heart. And I alone know what it will take to satisfy that hunger. So how can you seek to find what you do not understand? How can you seek for something when you do not even know what you are seeking? Be rather as the baby bird that sits in the nest, while the mother goes out and finds the tasty morsel that will satisfy its hunger. And then when the mother returns, it opens its mouth wide to receive what is given, knowing that it must be good. I will never give you anything that will harm you. Did I not say that I would give good things to those that ask for them? So learn to trust me in all things. And learn as that baby bird, to open your heart wide to receive the blessings that I bestow upon you. For then you will grow and mature until you too can learn to go out and feed others
