As the national Democratic Party reassesses after their humiliating midterm defeat nationally, should Oregon Republicans do the same? I know those of you not involved with party politics do not give a rip about this, but is it time for new leadership in the Oregon Republican Party? And if it is, who do you suggest? While Oregon is a daunting place for any Republican to mount a winning campaign, was the effort compromised by having a State Party Chair who was also running for Congress? Do we have anyone on the bench who you think would be stellar; or should we give the current leadership more time and support? I am interested in your thoughts, because while the elections just concluded…the presidential campaign will begin in earnest around the first of the year and keeping Hillary Clinton out of the presidency is the most important political crusade of my lifetime. Thoughts?
