As the new year approaches, I Reflect back on this year and think - TopicsExpress

As the new year approaches, I Reflect back on this year and think about the things that I would have done differently. I Think about the things that made me happy. I Think about what made me smile and I will do more of those things. I will Leave the past right where it is, its dead and gone. Always Remember the positives and try to apply more of those in 2015. Our year has had its up and downs, but more ups than downs, as Kaylan found out that her and Russell were going to have a precious baby, and they got married, which, was a blessing.. Kelsey made the Deans List at Ball State, and has one more year, and she will be a special education teacher, and a great one at that.. Lindsey got scouted to play soccer for many colleges in the surrounding areas, but has decided to follow in her Dads footsteps and attend Vincennes College, and major in Vet Tech.. Our Precious baby boy was born beautiful and healthy, and we love him dearly.. My Dad remains cancer free for almost 3 years now, and we are so very blessed to have him here with us... My best friend, hubby, celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this year and are blessed to have each other, and blessed for our beautiful children, and here is 25 more to come !! AS the year came to an end and we had the metro net guy fall from our ceiling and Kelseys sewer line break, it was kind of crazy, but you know what, we got through it, and Brian and I had a few good laughs getting up everyone morning with the drilling, hammer and nails going on.. hope you find many reasons to smile. Smiling is the best way to face every problem, to crush every fear, to hide every pain. A smile instantly makes you feel better... and besides, it looks so good on you! This year has also been a hard time for our family, and a time of clarity for me on some broken relationships and realizing that sometimes the best thing to do is take a few steps back and cover it in prayer as my Mom and decided that together last night, and as we dont always agree with each other, I still love her, and respect her as Mom, so, this year, I hope we can get along better.. .. Its time to make a new slate, as I am looking forward to a new year. I have high expectations for myself and for my family, that God is continuing to work within us and looking forward to what God has in store for me and my family (it’s always a journey with God). This is my prayer NEW YEARS EVE PRAYER: Father, my prayer today is that Your Presence will be felt by everyone, as we head into this New Year - 2015. Lord we are about to begin a New Year. We are asking You to lead the way and be the Leader in all we say and do. May we always place our hope and trust in You, and bring to our minds that You should always be our Gladness and our Refuge. Keep us rooted and grounded in You, Lord. May our joy in You be our strength throughout the coming New Year. Keep a smile on our face and an open heart to others needs. Dear Lord, in these troubled times make your presence known to all the peoples around the world so that they may see You (The Prince Of Peace ) as the only way to salvation.. We pray for everyone to be safe, and may the angels surround and protect everyone, wherever, and however, they choose to celebrate this New Years Eve! We plead the blood of Jesus over each vehicle that is on the highway, as they head to and from their homes, that they may reach their intended destinations safely. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen! Psalm 28:7 (KJV) The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
