As the new year approaches and we all gear up to party like its 1999, I traditionally like to reflect on the past year and evaluate what has been happening around me in my State Of Mind. And its been good! 2014 has been kinder to me in comparison with last year where trouble seemed to follow me in anything I tried to achieve. With an exorbitant amount of 6 releases to my name this year, of which 3 are full albums (HOLY SHIT!), Ive spent a lot of time escaping to my own little world of music. A recap of 2014: * Late February I released an ambient EP called Caritas, which was a dedication to my mother and her fight against cancer. She has slowly recovered from her fight and is cancerfree now, and continues to be the strongest and most loving woman I have ever known. She doesnt always grasp what my music is about, nor does she understand all the technobabble I spout when I go on a rant about what I do, but she knows how much it means to me and supports me in doing so. Thank you Mom, youll always have a special place in my heart and mind.
