As the nurses were preparing Craig to move to the recovery unit they took out a line/tube that went from his neck to his heart. Picline I think it is called. He went into respiratory arrest and a massive heart attack. The team of doctors tried for 20 minutes to revive him. J. Craig Gandy entered the gates of heaven at 3:27 PM. The three of us Jamie Gandy, Jonathan Gandy and myself prayed with all our might for Craig to come back while we stood around his body for 2 1/2 hours. We believe with just one touch of Jesus he could come back and finish his assignment. But as much as he loved me, and his children Craig loved God and Jesus much more. It is the hardest thing we have ever had to do was to say goodbye and trust God that He will provide and care for us without Craig around to do everything and have his wonderful love. There is so much to prepare for and I have not idea what I have to do to find a funeral home, arrangements with VA, a place for a service. We appreciate your prayers to God to keep us strong during this time of our extreme lost. We are so grateful to God for all our friends and the opportunity to have 2 days with Craig to tell him how much people loved him. He teared up when he was hit with the Holy Spirit when we read all your names to him. In our ministry sometimes we did not know if even one person watched a program and most of the time he would write awesome God words and not even have one like. It was our ministry to God and our families unending dedication to the leader of our family, the most Godly man I have ever known. He loved God and had the most incredible God relationship of anyone I have met. We will greatly miss him, I can not even explain how much! We will do our best to open our JCI Live program tonight at 8 PM and end with a rerun of Craig and Jamie sharing Jesus back in August 2, 2012.
