As the old song goes...I get by with a little help from my friends...today was a very special day in my EMS career and in my life. I was recognized as a Hospital Hero by the Iowa Hospital Association during their annual meeting. I feel very honored to be thought of in this light by my peers. I truly think that we are only a success because of the contributions of each person on the team and I am somewhat embarrassed to be singled out, but I could not be happier to represent Pocahontas Community Hospital and our EMS Association today. I am proud to be able to work with each of you and thank you all for standing behind me through all I have been through in recent years. I am a blessed man.
