As the popular vernacular goes, I am feeling some kinda way right about now. God is stretching me to do more and more to help others both in my personal and my professional (Brown Girl Collective) life. I knew that when I started on this endeavor that I was onto something big, but I never imagined that it would evolve as it has. Tonight, I had the opportunity to talk to some amazing people who had been knocked down by life circumstances and personal challenges, but managed to find their way back and then in turn help others. I know that each and every one of us has a trial story but its those triumph stories that have to power to change lives. I am thankful that those things that once brought me pain have now led me to an even greater purpose. -- Marcie L.
