As, the prophet Isaiah said, we would go through the waters, the floods, and the fires, or simply put, LIFE can be simply OVERWHELMING! BUT he also wrote that though we go through the waters, HE will be WITH us, or through the flood, they will NOT overtake us, or even through the fire, it will NOT burn us! (Isaiah 43:2). However, my little pea brain, gets so fixated on my circumstances, that I cannot see the SEAWALKER for the FLOOD, or the FOURTH MAN in the FIRE because I am blinded by the HEAT of the FLAMES! Last night I had myself so stressed out over a medical bill that by this morning I had terrible difficulty moving. I knew I had to call the company to make payment arrangements. I was miserable and there I sat as a Pitiful Polly making myself physically sicker minute by minute wondering about how we were going to make it through this mess. I had already forgotten all that I had prayed about this last NIGHT!! I mean I was just like Hezekiah, I laid out all the bills before the Lord. And then I just poured my heart out to HIM. I reminded HIM that HE promised to SUPPLY all my need according to HIS riches in Glory through Christ Jesus. I also reminded HIM that though $1700 would not bankrupt heaven, it certainly could wreak havoc with our little family budget. So this morning, as I watched the clock waiting for the 10:00 hour to roll around because the company is in California, I just told the Lord, Thank you for handling this and dialed the number. I spoke to the machine and asked for the representative. I got a very nice lady by the name of Lily. She looked up my account. We discussed my account and the options that I had. Then she said WAIT just a MINUTE and then asked me about my insurance. We discussed my insurance. We confirmed that her company is out of network with my insurance. Then she told me to send in the the an EOB from March 2014 and a check for less than $200 and my account will be cleared! I asked her to repeat what she just said. She also said that for all future bills, the company would accept the amount the insurance paid as payment and I owed NO further money! I just broke out praising JESUS right on the phone. POOR Lily was not real sure what to do then!!! Yes, LUCY was doing the HALLELUJAH dance as BEST she could!! You see, GOD is faithful, even when we have doubt, lose sight of the MASTER, or fixate on our circumstance! Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. (Psalm 147:1)
