As the temperatures continue to linger in single digits in many parts of our state, many continue to struggle to get by with no heat because they cannot afford to pay their 7th highest in the nation heating bills. Many are left shivering with nothing left than hope, a few blankets, and hope, hope that the bitter cold passes soon. All this while PSE&G wages a fierce campaign to hike electric and gas rates by Billions of dollars to fund its Energy Strong plan which has not passed a traditional cost-benefit test and if another storm like Superstorm Sandy hits, would still leave the majority of PSE&G’s customers in the dark.
