As the weather gets warmer, I feel that I must write a little something regarding motorcycles. To all of my motorcycle enthusiast friends, please read before you might become offended. I am sure you will agree on most points. First, please be safe out there & especially now. In this still cool weather, I am not always expecting to see a motorcycle out. I am especially not expecting a motorcycle to come up behind me on the bypass going 100 miles per hour. Next, why do you call it going riding? I suppose this would be an accurate description if you were touring on your motorcycle. However, if your definition of riding is stopping off at a bar every half an hour, that is just called drunk driving. People do that in cars too. Lastly, while I can respect your love for the open road, owning a motorcycle does not make you part of a gritty motorcycle gang any more than buying a jet ski would make you a pirate. The end.
