As the weather turns colder here in Egypt, I would like to take this moment to ask, if anyone has any old blankets, sweaters, etc....would u kindly consider donating them to one (or all) of the lovely animal shelters in Egypt?The dogs and cats really feel the cold, and any bit of comfort helps. There are several extremely reputable shelters here in Cairo such as ESAF Page (The Egyptian Society of Animal Friends) The Egyptian Society for Mercy to Animals - ESMA and Touch of Life Organization who wud be so grateful for any old blankets or sweaters u may have lying around. In addition to blankets, they wud also be grateful for any cat or dog food (dry or tinned) bowls, medications (contact the shelter for further details regarding types of medications) .....and of course, monetary donations, ANY small amount, even 5 or 10 le can really add up
