As this day is quickly approaching and the anxiety builds up more and more and the flashbacks of that awful call, you go right to that moment , everything that happen in the time it was all taken place you remember the craziest things like the way tears separate eyelashes, and the sounds of footsteps going back & forth through the house, only certain words you that play over and over in your mind, and then someone asks you a question and you realize this in fact is not a dream its reality... The 1st year you are so numb to it all just going through the day to day motions and you in fact know that a part of you has died when you left that horrible day, but as you stand back and really take notice , you truly lost 2 people you lose a piece of your heart which being your sibling and you lose a parent , because they cant believe that they have lost a piece of their soul . Then you end up realizing you have become apart of this elite club that if you know what Im talking about you know exactly what Im saying, and Im sorry youre here too, it is very hard when holidays, birthdays and anniversaries approach , hey who am I kidding its hard when the sun shines bright, but you have to learn how to cope and do whats best for you, this is what I have learned through this so called new way of life for us , but I put 1 foot in front of the other , I put on a smile and try and be thankful for every day that I have and every moment that you were in my life, I in fact was blessed to have a sibling ... You are my every thought always know that .
