As this is the time most everyone has or is getting ready to put up their Christmas decorations, this is a good time to do a thorough cleaning of your house. Having a conversation with my son the other day, he made the argument that he doesnt understand why he should make his bed up daily and wash his sheets weekly....Im just going to mess up the bed again, whats the point?... Im not good at debating in the moment, and with my son, he just seems to make sense. So, I had him watch this video. Bed bugs are a real thing. And it doesnt matter if you are the cleanest person on earth, they can and at some point will make their way in your home. Especially if you travel often. And most of us travel more during the holidays. Bed bugs are notorious hitch hikers and become immune to pesticides. If you are making your bed daily, you can see if one has hitched a ride from somewhere, but especially if you change your sheets weekly. Infestations only happen, when one or two of these critters go undetected. But if your not looking and checking regularly, cleaning your sheets regularly, then if wont take long.
