As tragic as the situation about the 19 year old girl who was shot and killed by the officer is, the fact that she was killed doesnt clear her of wrongdoing. Yes, he shot her 4 times and it killed her, but she got behind the wheel intoxicated, was asked to step out of the car, and then hit the officer with her car. If someone hit you and you landed on their hood, would you shoot at their tires or at them? Because once youre on the hood, access to the tires becomes more difficult. Maybe 4 times was too many, but officers are legally allowed to protect themselves. I dont blame the girl for drinking underage because I dont know many who havent, but getting behind the wheel and putting others lives in danger is unforgivable. Im sorry but thats just how I feel! My condolences go out to the young girls family and friends. Sad it happened the way it did, but shes in a better place now.
