As u stand on the threshold of a new life, the life of a teenager with raging hormones, I take a deep breadth and try to prepare myself for what is to come. Over the last year , I watched the small changes that have creeped in to u, watched with a little pride and a little anxiety. That warm bundle of joy that would send sparks through my spine when he would break out in a warm gum baring smile, sleeping peacefully in my arms with his closed fists up like he was constantly holding up the world, whose bald smooth head and round tummy would make me smile at how you would take on the girls has finally shed his baby fat and is shaping up to d contours of a boy, a boy who can actually even diet, a young boy who has serious grown up discussions with me... And a boy who can now pick me up with ease and joke on my size. I still wonder when you will stop saying, I dont know, mama knows but till then let me relish what a wonderful loving young boy you have become. With all your laid backness, I still love u. U r and will be my most precious gift from God. And I feel so proud that you have chosen to give back on your birthday, a little to this world .Something, what you and I have had as a right- the gift of sight.
