As usual, I need to take a few days to unwind and reflect after a big show like Caged Fury 2014. Theres a lot to be said, but I’ll keep it to just a few topics from the top of my mind. First, IWC is in store for some great things now that together, Jimmy DeMarco and I are steering the ship. Jimmy knows just how to deal with the inflated egos and unpredictable conduct of guys like John McChesney, Justin LaBar, RJ City, Joe Rosa and The Faces of Change. He has the credentials needed to help manage the locker room after spending years inside the ring and dealing with unprofessional wrestlers and promoters alike. Not to mention a big payoff at Rivers Casino a month ago gives him the leverage needed to buy 49% of IWC. Jimmy and I have met several times already since Caged Fury and Im happy to say we are on the same page. Sure hes abrasive, crude, doodles inappropriate images while we chat, insists I wear sleeveless shirts when we meet, and sends me tanning bed coupons everyday, but most importantly he knows how to deal with talent from the gutter! Jimmy and I will be addressing several issues over the next few weeks including the results from the 4-Way cage match at Caged Fury. Despite the results, we must uphold the integrity of the Super Indy title that RJ City has a firm grasp of. We will also address the inexcusable actions of Facade towards Jake Clemmons following the match. We both will not tolerate such conduct towards authority no matter what the decision may be. I also wanted to take a moment to address the Faces of Change (FOC), Joe Rosa and the Founding Fathers (FF). Ill admit that Joe Rosa pulled the wool over my eyes. I did not see that coming. Someone on here suggested that my security could be part of the FOC, but I immediately dismissed that suggestion. Im not surprised Joe Rosa could be part of this, but the other three I would have never guessed. I know they will read this and no doubt are waiting to show the world who they really are, and from what I can tell, these guys are as good as they say they are. These three men are some of the most promising graduates to come out of the Iron City Wrestling Academy. They have size, strength, ego and what they lack in experience is made up for in their new found leader Joe Rosa. The facts speak for themselves. Not only did they get over on me, they damn near accomplished the impossible at Caged Fury. Although Ive had my problems and encounters with the Founding Fathers over the years, until Caged Fury I have NEVER seen anyone or any group take out, over power or out smart Dennis Gregory, Jimmy Vegas and Justin Idol. Collectively, these guys have over 45 years of experience and have held 13 IWC titles. They are in the prime of their careers. However, what the FOC and Rosa accomplished at Caged Fury was surreal. Ive not heard from the FF since they were carried from the ring at Caged Fury. Justin Plummer told me he tried to get an interview with them backstage at the show, but uncharacteristically they declined. That footage is on the latest edition of Aftershock posted below. I have no doubt the FOC will make their presence known at IWC Presents: Saturday Night Fights on 9/20 in White Oak. The condition of and whether or not the Founding Fathers will be there is still TBD. Ill give this to Rosa and the FOC, they very well may have changed IWC at Caged Fury and they may have taken out the Founding Fathers, now that I know who all of you are, this time I will be ready. Stay tuned and keep in touch with a lot more heading into Saturday Night Fights on 9/20 in White Oak. Follow Jimmy DeMarco on twitter at @iwcpromoter and follow IWC @iwcwrestling. NOW WATCH THIS...
