As usual, the far left wing fascists of the UAF managed to stir up trouble and become violent which led to EDL leader Tommy Robinson being arrested, as usual. Anti-Fascist And EDL Demonstrations Take Place in London. SKY News. English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson has been arrested on a controversial march that was prevented from going through the centre of one of Britain’s biggest Muslim NO-GO zones in the UK. A tweet on the EDL website stated: “Tommy’s been arrested for incitement.” A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “A 30-year-old man was arrested for breaching section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986 and inciting others to breach section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986. ”He has been taken to a central London police station where he currently remains.” Ever notice how Tommy always seems to get arrested lately by a female cop? The EDL had lost a High Court battle over where they are allowed to demonstrate. They had wanted to rally in an area in Tower Hamlets, east London, which they say is “subject to Sharia law”. But Judge Mr Justice King yesterday ruled that a police decision to impose restrictions over fears of “serious public disorder” was reasonable and proportionate. By 6pm, 14 people had been arrested but it is thought the numbers could rise. The Metropolitan Police allowed the protest but under strict conditions which meant any march would be held at the outskirts of the borough and close to Tower Bridge. A counter demonstration was held by far left wing fascist groups, (UAF) and (Hope not Hate) who were among those arrested. Offences ranged from possession of a pointed blade, possession of a firework, breach of public order, criminal damage and violent disorder. They are all being held at police stations in east and central London. Among those in custody is a 15-year-old boy who was arrested for going equipped, Scotland Yard said. RT. Clashes broke out in London after pro-Islamist protesters confronted the English Defense League (EDL) during a march at Tower Bridge on Saturday. Police made arrests, used batons, and kettled demonstrators in an attempt to contain the violence. Roughly 600 EDL supporters tried to march to the East London Mosque on Whitechapel Road on Saturday, despite the fact that marchers were previously banned from entering the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, where the mosque is located. The EDL believes the area has become “subject to Sharia law.” EDL protesters were stopped approximately 600 meters away from the mosque. Demonstrators attempted to break police lines by throwing flares and using placards. More than 160 people were arrested on Saturday, according to The Independent. The group, which describes itself as a human rights organization, believes “Sharia needs to be tackled at a global as well as national level.” Earlier this week, police announced that the march would be barred from entering the “heart of Tower Hamlets” and would face strict control amid fears that the protest would cause “serious public disorder.” The group challenged the decision in High Court, but lost the battle when a judge ruled that the march’s route was “unnecessarily provocative.” The march started south of Tower Bridge around 1pm local time. Protesters marched while shouting,“England” and “I’m English until I die.” Saturday’s demonstration included members of similar groups from Poland, Finland, and Germany.
