As we all know Steven Moffat mentioned about looking at our DVDs about the Doctors regenerations. Here are my ideas: -If youve seen Devious, there is another 2nd Doctor or 2.5 if you like and they used the 3rd Doctor to help complete the regeneration for him and since it wasnt completed, was a life used? (I dont think so!) Could this style be used in the future? Or is that part of the John Hurt theory? -The obvious idea is River Song. She gave him her lives and she was in her 3rd incarnation so she must have at least given him another 10 so when he reaches the end of his lives, the Doctor should be in his 21st life!! -The Time War. When the Master returned in 2007 and after ChanTho shot him, he regenerated in the TARDIS. But hang on, the last time we saw the Master before the new series he was stealing the Doctors lives because he had used all of his. Obviously he failed but how could he have got more lives? Maybe he was given more lives when he was resurrected? What if the same thing happened to the Doctor? Maybe the Time Lords gave him more lives and never spoke of it. -The most confusing is the Stolen Earth regeneration. Some fans still argue that he used up a life when he put the regeneration into his hand but I for one dont agree that he used a life. The Doctor didnt change, David Tennant was still classed as the 10th Doctor, Matt Smith 11th and Peter Capaldi the new 12th Doctor. I know there are only 4 theorys on here but its all I can think of!
