As we approach Thanksgiving, we always field a lot of questions and see a lot of guilty faces. So, heres some advice: Eat without regret this thursday, but just on the holiday. Stay clean the days pre and the days post. One day of indulgence will not ruin your fitness pursuits, so dont fret about it. Enjoy your day and then get back at it. Worried youll still be wracked with regret after doing such a thing? Then set your limits before hand and share them with your friends and family. Maybe its 1 piece of pie or 2 cookies or a single serving of sweet potato casserole, etc. Whatever it is, set the limit, tell everyone in sight and then stick to it! This will allow you to enjoy Thanksgiving with all of its fixings and avoid the negative mental trap of guilt. Whichever route you take, please make sure to enjoy your day. Be thankful for the ways in which you can move, for the work youve done and for the progress youve made. And as always, be thankful for those you can hold close =) HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
