As we approach the 10 year anniversary of GOW, I found myself reminiscing about the evolution of this amazing body of believers, of friends, co-workers and fellow servants! But the one thing that stands out above all the really great things is being a part of a Home Fellowship. To me, this has been a special time with friends, laughing, crying, sharing, comforting and learning in an environment centered on Jesus. It doesn’t get any better than that. I don’t know about you, but I need the prayers and encouragement of others. I need the interaction of spending time with friends talking about Jesus. It keeps my fire burning. It keeps me focused. I know that those I am surrounded by will keep me accountable. I need that! Don’t you? I want to challenge you, starting with this 10 year achievement, to make it a point to get involved in a Home Fellowship in 2014. Look in the Church Bulletin; there are 3 groups meeting right now. Any of which would welcome you with open arms. Or maybe you have the desire to facilitate a group; to lead a discussion, or perhaps you could offer your home as a place to meet.
