As we approach the day set aside to celebrate our Lords birth, amid all the commercial clutter, let us be reminded of the awesome Christ! Although this is a little long, it is well worth reading. The Heavens declare the glory of God and The firmament shows His handiwork. No means of measure can define His limitless love. No far-seeing telescope can bring into visibility The coastline of His shoreless supply. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing. Hes enduringly strong and Hes entirely sincere, Hes eternally steadfast and Hes immortally graceful, Hes imperially powerful and Hes impartially merciful. Hes the greatest phenomenon That ever crossed the horizon of this world. He is Gods Son! He is the sinners Savior! Hes the centerpiece of civilization. He does not need to call for help nor can He be confused. He doesnt need you and He doesnt need me, He stands alone in the solitude of Himself. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! Hes august and Hes unique, Hes unparalleled and Hes unprecedented, Hes supreme and Hes preeminent. Hes the loftiest idea in literature. Hes the highest personality in philosophy. Hes the ultimate problem of higher criticism. Hes the fundamental doctrine of true theology. Hes the cardinal necessity of spiritual religion. Hes the miracle of the age and the mystery of the ages. Hes the superlative of everything good that He can be called. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! He can satisfy all your needs, and He can do it simultaneously. He supplies strength for the weak, Hes available for the tempted and the tried. He sympathizes and He sees. He guards and he guides, he heals the sick. He cleanses the leper, He forgives sinners. He discharges debtors, he delivers the captives. He defends the feeble, He blesses the young. He regards the aged, he rewards the diligent. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! Hes the Key to knowledge, He the Wellspring of wisdom, Hes the Doorway of deliverance, hes the Pathway of peace. Hes the Roadway to righteousness, Hes the Highway to holiness. Hes the Gateway to glory, Hes the Master of the mighty. Hes the Captain of the conquerors, hes the Head of the heroes. Hes the Leader of the legislators, Hes the Overseer of the overcomers. Hes the Governor of the governors, Hes the Prince of the princes. Hes the King of Kings, hes the Lord of Lords. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! His office is manifold, His promise is sure, His life is matchless, His goodness is limitless. His mercy is everlasting, His love never changes. His word is enough, His grace is sufficient. His reign is righteous, His yoke is easy. His burden is light. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! Hes indescribable because Hes incomprehensible, Hes irresistible because Hes invincible, You cant get Him off your hands, You cant get Him out of your mind. You cant outlive Him and you cant live without Him. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! Pilate couldnt stand it when he found he couldnt stop Him; He couldnt believe it when he couldnt find any fault in Him. The witnesses couldnt accuse Him because their testimony couldnt agree. Herod couldnt kill Him, and death couldnt handle Him. Thank God, the grave couldnt hold Him! YOU CAN TRUST HIM! There was nobody before Him and therell be nobody after Him, He has no predecessor and He will have no successor. No one can impeach Him and Hes not going to resign. You can trust Him, Hes the awesome God! YOU CAN TRUST HIM! Hes the Alpha and the Omega, Hes the beginning and the end. Hes the first and the last, Hes all things. Hes the Giver of life, Hes the Light in every darkness. Hes the Joy in every sorrow, Hes the Peace that passes understanding. Hes the Giver of every good and perfect gift. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! Hes the Wind beneath every wing and the Breath in every lung. Hes the Lyric in every Hymn, Hes the Melody in every tune. Hes the Brilliance in every sunrise, Hes the Glow in every sunset. Hes the Rose of Sharon, Hes the Bright and Morning Star. There was no God before Him and therell be none after Him. YOU CAN TRUST HIM! Hes the God of the past. Hes the God of the future. Hes the God of the present. Hes the Same yesterday, Hes the Same today. Hes the Same forever and forever! I pledge my allegiance to Him, I sing out His Name. JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! HE IS JESUS!
