As we approach the final moments of 2014, this is a true heart felt message to all the friends and acquaintances and loved ones who were a part of my life over these last 12 months and how much what they did for me has made a difference. There are no names that need mentioned as they know who they are, exactly what they did and how much I appreciate them as they were each a part of an incredible journey I never thought was possible this day one year ago. There is a magical feeling about New Years Eve; it’s a time when you can reflect on all the experiences of the past year and for all the setbacks you overcame, the losses of loved ones to the happiest of memories and the pleasure of the welcoming new special people into your life. I hope everyone who reads this will realize just how much you can make a difference with simple acts and to never underestimate the power of being there for someone – often it is needed more than it is asked for. As you all head into 2015, I hope you all: * Find out who you are and what you want, then be it and go for it on purpose; * That you never settle for the path of least resistance; * Give without expectation of receiving; and surround yourself with those you can make a difference by doing so; * Step out of your comfort zone; do something that you’re afraid to do in order to be what you want to be and have what you want to have; And remember: you only live once – but if you do it right, ONCE IS ENOUGH.
