As we are all surely aware, the holiday season is in full swing, and Trigators events recently have been shamefully lacking in the holiday spirit department. It is with this in mind that I am organizing a Secret Santa subcommittee of our group, Anonymous Secret Santa for Humans Attempting Triathlon (ASSHAT). Here are the rules as I am proposing them: 1) Gifts should be worth less than $10 each (unless you dont expect reciprocation) 2) Gifts must be opened at designated times during practice (such as before track, before law school run, before swim, etc) so dont go giving people stuff that will make them embarrassed around others unless its gonna be really funny. 2.5) If you dont go to practice, there is a chance you might miss out on a sweet gift. But someone will probably collect it and give it to you at a later date. 3) You may attempt to guess your Secret Santa at any time. 4) If your Secret Santa guesses your identity correctly, you must confess. 5) You must reveal yourself (not like that Luke, get your mind out of the gutter) to your Secret Santa partner before the end of finals week. ...And thats about it. Comment on this post if youd like to participate, and I will match you with someone else pseudorandomly. Comment if you have any suggestions because Ive never done this before. Message me if you hate somebody and dont want to be matched with them. Also, if you comment to indicate your participation, include in this comment which practices you plan to attend regularly and which you cant, so that I can pass this info along to your match. Additionally, expect a short questionnaire soon to better inform your partner in terms of gift ideas.
