As we are in the season of giving thanks, I would like to post some things that our squadron is thankful for. Please feel free to add your own items to this post. We are thankful for a great location to have our meetings. The airport has been very wonderful to us. We are thankful for Major Durant that brought his expertise to our squadron to get us started. We are thankful to Lt. Alan Altis for taking over so Major Durant could move on to another squadron. We are thankful for our parents turned Senior Members for joining when we needed them. We are thankful for the different interests of our Senior Members that have made our squadron a success. Everyone brought a different flavor to the squadron that allowed us to fill in all of the holes. We are thankful to Cadet Durant for being our Cadet Commander to a brand new squadron. It took an amazing kid, raised by even more amazing parents, to make that happen. We are thankful for cadets that are interested and motivated. The sheer number of promotions these guys are getting shows how great they are. We are thankful for General Mackey. He was able to step in and take over Aerospace when our Aerospace Officer had to leave due to scheduling conflicts. We are thankful that our cadets are our children. My family has grown to such a large number thanks to these kiddos. While I know I didnt mention each person by name, the truth is I am VERY thankful for each and every Senior Member and cadet.
