As we are on the eve of Election Day for the 5th District Congressional, I wanted to say a few things I noticed in the debate last night since I was able to sit in the actual audience. Just to note: I actually asked these questions on Mr. McAllisters page, but my comment had vanished this morning. 1. Mr. McAllister kept saying he and Senator Riser were much the same. If this is so true (I dont believe it to be), why wouldnt you vote for the guy who has some experience in legislation, writing and passing bills, and knows a little of how it works? If I have two candidates with the same education and skill set, but one has more experience, I am going to hire the more experienced one. 2. If you are in fact so much like Senator Riser, who you call to be a career politician, arent you yourself a career politician? 3. Mr. McAllister I have had the chance to hear you speak around a dozen times either in person, on radio, or on the television throughout this whole election. You have changed positions several times, but you continue to deny that. Wouldnt you say a mans word is most valuable thing? Wouldnt you agree that a man who owns up to his words rather than deny them is what we need? I think you would, and I know thats why I am voting for Senator Riser!
