As we began our journey of the 131st session of the Canadian Annual Conference on August 7th 2014 in Windsor, we opened the Conference with The Right Rev. John Richard Bryant, Presiding Bishop, asking us to Roll up your sleves and go to work and not to forget our duties and responsibilities of the A.M.E. Church. This was the resounding message that Bishop John Richard Bryant and it was reaffirmed by Rev. Dr Cecilia William - Bryant, to not forget our responsibilities and duties, because every duty or responsability has to make an impact in the Church and in the community. Proceeding our opening message Rev. Dr Cecilia William - Bryant reminded us that Canada will be hosting the Quadreninal in Indianapolis. We are instructed to invite and register 25 Young Women between the ages of 18 to 35 to attend, and for 25 young people between the ages of 11-18 to attend. We also need to donate a 25$ Walmart gift card for the delegates of India, Bahamas, and Bermuda. The bar has been set to achive the goal of 100 tickets, to be sold prior to Founders Day (end of February) and to make sure registration is done as early as Christmas 2014. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND YOU ARE STILL NEEDED TO SUPPORT THIS QUADRENINAL IN INDIANAPOLIS! For your contribution is welcomed.
