As we begin to draw the curtain for the online streaming, we have embarked on another project called ReadAlive. As was earlier posted, ReadAlive is a platform to celebrating celebrating young writers in Nigeria, whether professional or amateur, published or unpublished alike. At ReadAlive, the concept is to bring together a conglommeration of young Nigerian writers as well as lovers of works of Literature. The project shall be carried out in major cities of the country at different times. Importantly, ReadAlive shall creat a platform or web of networking between writers and publishers. It is our desire that this project shall consequently connect writers to publishers who shall be willing to give their (writers) works considerations for possible publication. At ReadAlive, a great discourse shall ensue on whether we Nigerians can actually develop what we can truly call The Nigerian Literature. Similarly, we shall use this project as a means of networking among writers in order to create an association of young Nigerian writers to further deliberate on what actuallyshould be termed the Nigerian Literature. We shall entertain works from among young Nigerian writers for a possible publication during this programme. We hereby use this medium to call on volunteers from Ile-Ife or OAU to making the maiden edition of ReadAlive possible in GREATIFE...OAU.
