As we bid farewell to 2014, we reflect on all the lives that have been save this year within our rescue community. Unfortunately we have not been able to pull any souls this year for our own rescue. Our intake remains at a stand still due to lack of adoptions. Our main priority is taking care of what we already have . This doesnt stop us though from continuing to help every way we can. We continue to temp foster, transport, network and share, donate, sponsor, and advocate. Rescue has so many facets that there really is something everyone can do!! So we ask you this year, if you have the ability, to give your heart and your time to a homeless pet this year. You dont have to adopt, just help out a rescue/shelter (any rescue/shelter) and visit with one of their dogs, walk them, or sponsor them... something. It may not change the world, but it sure to make that day a little bit better for that dog....... We created this video to share with everyone our forgotten souls that will be closing out 2014 and bringing in 2015 with us. All have been with us for at least ONE year...and others are going on or already over 2 years. We are asking that if you had space in your home to help foster one of our long timers to let us know. A couple of our crew would really benefit from having more one on one time with a family and would help making the actual adoption/integration into a forever home much smoother. If you cant foster, but still would like to help us out, do not hesitate to let us know.
