As we come down to the last week of the elections in Virginia, i find myself undecided. That may be surprising. but I remember an idealist 4 years ago by the name of Bob McDonnell. Oh yea, he too, stood for something greater than himself. However,.after winning, he spent 3 years trying out to be vice president. When that didnt happen he started looking for a legacy. Unfortunately, like the Republicans in Congress, he agreed that a bad deal was better than no deal. He also fell in love with tolls, which are a back door tax on citizens and a lazy legislative strategy to actually managing the state budget. The fact that his wife, Maureen, became Imelda Marcos doesnt bother me, its that he was a disappointment as a manager of the states. Ken Cucinelli is a good man,and ld like to keep it that way. God forbid that we put him in a situation where he would reach across the aisle , find common ground, or compromise.......meaning he sells out his values and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
