As we depart I gracefully kiss her upon on her left cheek and I left with this distinctive image, her smile o’ what a beautiful. But that smile is so deceitful and misrepresenting. I’ve never seen anything like it, I honestly haven’t. I have seen many faces and twice as many expressions. This was different. In any normal circumstance a smile will represent happiness and joy. When she smiled I could tell for her it meant the complete polar opposite. Vulnerability, an unfamiliar comfort zone and moment of weakness. You have to see how quickly she defaults back to this smirk. This egoistical and unforgiving facial expression. To be frank, it puts her smile to shame but makes you grow fonder of it though, like a solar eclipse or some natural occurrence. Yeah some nature shit like that. Its almost astounding until that moment I fix my lips to ask her, how are you surviving? Depriving yourself of love, laughter, and intimacy. I’ll probably never ask her. I wouldn’t want to startle her with the same very thing I was once afraid of.
