As we draw closer to the end of the summer of 2014, I contemplate on just how full of blessings this summer has been for me. I am sooo grateful for my life right now! I love living this sober life, being a musician, teaching, and a student of life! But I realize, I am human. Perfect, in my imperfections. I make mistakes. I have triumphs. Sometimes I make decisions that are the right decisions for me, and others as well. Sometimes I make decisions that are wrong, for me and for others as well. Sometimes I make decisions that are right for me, but I do not want to do that thing, because if feels uncomfortable and or makes others angry with me. Sometimes I have to make decisions that are right for me, or my business, but that decision angers other people, and for some, it is enough to break up a friendship or stop working with me. With all of that, the one constant is that I must keep moving forward. Oh, this being human is a messy, sometimes hurtful, many time joyful and triumphant journey. Through it all, I am still grateful to be me. I love the woman that I am, and excited about the woman I am becoming!
